My Story

This is when I met her!

I am my grandmother’s child, and to know me, you’ll have to learn a little bit about her.

She came to the United States from rural Italy with an elementary level education and one clear dream: that her family would work hard, give back, and go further than she was able to. She’s been wheelchair bound since my father was an infant, but I still grew up in her house, eating her cooking, hearing her stories, and I’ve been acting as her helper and advocating for her long before I knew what that word meant. I learned early that showing up for people is one of the most important things you can do.

She made sure I had a library card from before I could read. She still asks if my homework is done. This June, I’ll be the first in my family to earn a college degree and she couldn’t be more proud.

That upbringing shaped everything about how I work. I’m someone who communicates across differenes, advocates confidently, and never needs to be told twice to roll up my sleeves. I’m drawn to advertising and PR because storytelling has been how my family preserved and what mattered. I’ve also found that my hobbies in the kitchen translate well to the field. I approach creative strategy like a new recipe, data, research, structure, and timing, but also with a healthy dash of instinct.

I'm currently looking for opportunities where I can bring that same energy: curious, hardworking, and genuinely invested in the people and stories behind the work.

A very small portion of our family.
